i remember...
i remember...how spendid it was, how it ended, how much my hopes depended on a girl i hadn't met yet. i remember...the headaches, how my heart ached, how i couldn't make it better and how fast he passed. i remember...the blank days, the "i just can't" days, the ways i tried and cried and sighed and wanted to hide. i remember...like an old movie it plays, with time the acuity decays but it stays. the funeral replays, my memory of his manner fades and i can't persuade myself to let go of her. i want to know of her and show her how I�ve earned it. i yearn for that. my heart burns but i've learned. i'm concerned. i haven't turned my back on the past, i closed my eyes to make it last and took a break. my mistake. i just wanted to rest and take a breath. i have no interest in argument, yet i'm losing patience and am not as tolerant. i no longer hesitate to state what's on my mind, and hate how late it is to break the habit. i know sanity but can't seem to grab it. none of this was planned, i just landed on the wrong foot.
